HKFTU Women Affairs Committee has been fighting for the rights of working women over the years. As early as 1981, it strived to implement full-pay maternity leave and finally successfully extended the statutory maternity leave to 14 weeks. The Employee Rights Concern Group of HKFTU monitoring the Government Anti-epidemic Fund reckoned that the two rounds of anti-epidemic fund were inadequate.
